We are looking for a highly reliable and proactive Intake Specialist to join our team.
Job Requirements
- Advanced English proficiency is required for daily conversation and business operations.
- At least 1 year of professional sales experience.
- Stable work history (we seek candidates who have maintained 2+ years in previous roles).
- Excellent English writing and grammar skills (no proofreading support is provided).
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to control and guide professional conversations.
- Ability to type at least 50 words per minute while speaking.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.
- A closer mentality—able to effectively guide potential clients toward booking and paying for consultations.
- Professional, empathetic tone—able to build rapport without losing control of the call’s direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule paid consultations for prospective clients with attorneys.
- Screen incoming calls to determine if cases align with the firm’s specific practice areas.
- Utilize sales techniques to build rapport, effectively explain services, and overcome objections.
- Collect payment before booking any consultation appointment.
- Take detailed notes while actively listening to callers.
- Follow up with leads generated from web forms, referrals, and phone inquiries.
- Draft and send professional emails with proper grammar and spelling (templates are not to be used).
- Maintain accurate data and reports related to prospective clients.
- Occasionally transfer non-intake calls to the appropriate team member.

Alonso Law P.A. is seeking a Legal Research & Writing Assistant to support the development of a legal textbook focused on environmental law. Subject-matter expertise in environmental law is not required. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to review legal content, verify citations, and conduct case law and statutory research.
Responsibilities:
- Review draft chapters for clarity, structure, and accuracy.
- Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and secondary sources.
- Verify and format legal citations according to standard guidelines.
- Provide editorial feedback on flow, readability, and organization.
- Proofread for grammar, consistency, and legal terminology.
Qualifications:
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret legal texts and sources. We’ll be sending candidates with experience in these platforms: LexisNexis and Westlaw 1-2 years of experience. This is must, no-negotiable.
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
