Position Scope:
This position is responsible for delivery of Transaction Banking Products and Services. He/she will focus on Payments Processing, Integrated and customized collections, Cash Management including flows retention, Trade, outsourced products and service propositions, electronic transaction channels, Business Partnerships with Third Party entities among others with the main aim of ensuring growth on the Bank’s Non-Funded Income line and customer utilization of the value propositions to enhance business and customer retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and deploy Transactional Banking solutions to existing and potential customers in conjunction with the department’s managers.
- Work closely with client relationship teams and internal business partners to provide TB specialist partnership in utilization of Transaction Banking solutions and propositions by customers.
- Build focus on delivery of assigned projects to support business growth, market profile and scalability of the business.
- Responsible for supporting customized TB solution development in liaison with Project Management and Technology teams.
- Provide support for product utilization and monitoring and provide reports for business decision and focus.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Relationship teams for penetration of electronic channels (Internet banking, Host to Host interfaces etc.) on new and existing client portfolios.
- Collaborate with all sales channels, product partners, external business partners and in-house stakeholders to maximize resources and opportunities on product development and maintenance.
- Implement a range of products and solutions to meet the customized business needs and attain consistent market share growth.
- Provide support on product awareness/knowledge of Transaction Banking solutions across the Bank for adoption to support in business growth in the network.
- Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly administration and business performance reports.
- Undertake market research to identify new business opportunities in co-ordination with the relevant stakeholders in the Bank.
- Responsible for matching clients’ needs with product capabilities through presentation of tailored
- demonstrations and proposals on Transaction Banking propositions.
- Build constructive and effective relationships within the team to support a collaborative working environment.
- Support on compliance of the TB products and take part during the regular risk assessment exercises.
- Ensure compliance with the Bank’s Policies, procedures and related guidelines.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
Education/Professional Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/ ICT related field from a recognised university.
- Professional Certification in ICT related course is an added advantage
- Five (5) years banking experience from a relevant field.
- Good planning and organizational skills

Position Scope:
- The role holder will provide support in the development, design, document, maintenance and solutioning for digitalchannels systems for the Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational and technical support for the digital channels and the related sub-systems and ensuresystem uptime as per the banks service level agreements.
- Ensure that service / support calls are effectively responded to and resolved within the framework of the Servicelevel agreements and develop knowledge and awareness of the relevant applications.
- Perform and implement system maintenance, making program modification as necessary to meet business requirements; review and modify programs to correct errors and improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure cyclical assignments such as Disaster Recovery testing, business continuity plans, penetration testing andsoftware and hardware audits are completed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for designing, developing and providing appropriate reports and management information as requiredby business.
- Participate and perform system integrations, testing, upgrades and enhancements, documentation and stabilization.
- Continuously analyse user requirements and provide solutions.
- Maintain up to date system and user documentation and manuals.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Personal Attributes:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in IT and/or related field from a recognized university.
- ITIL Certifications
- Advanced knowledge in Linux
- Advanced knowledge in Oracle/MS SQL
- Three(3) years’ experience in handling Integrations for Mobile and Internet Banking
- Competency in Card Management Systems and VISA Operations
- Competency in Linux administration
- Competency on SQL Scripting, Oracle Skills will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work with Weblogic and Messaging Queues and ISO Messagin.
- Knowledge on API, SOAP Messages
- Has worked with SMS Gateways
- Knowledge in Java, Tomcat, Jboss
- Has dealt with HSMs
