Toward Scaling Project Officer
Terms of Reference:
- Coordinate day-to-day implementation of Toward Scaling projects to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
- Liaise with Scale Partners to monitor progress, gather updates, and identify areas requiring support.
- Plan and facilitate key program activities, including online (workshops, launch events, review sessions, and regular check-in meetings with partners).
- Support contracting, due diligence, reporting, and compliance processes in line with organizational requirements.
- Facilitate reflection and document partner learning, outcomes, and progress toward scaling goals.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize project data and insights to inform program learning and contribute to the development of knowledge documents.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, briefs, and learning summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate communication and knowledge sharing across the Core Project
- Management team, Donor and Scale Partners.
- Utilize digital tools and collaborative platforms to enhance coordination, reporting, and information management.
- Identify and adopt digital and process innovations that improve program efficiency and learning.
- Other tasks, as may be required.
Expected Deliverables:
- Demonstrated commitment to the Mission and Vision of DOT
- Facilitate regular check-ins with partners
- Monthly progress summary reports and partner tracking updates.
- Document learning and case studies from Scale Projects and contribute to knowledge and learning products.
- Coordination and facilitation of key events (e.g., launch, learning sessions, review workshops, etc.).
- Accurate, timely reporting aligned with program requirements..
- Sensitivity to diversity and commitment to creating inclusive spaces for advocating the voices of underrepresented groups within the youth demographic
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Business, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in program or project coordination, preferably in innovation, development, or scaling-related initiatives.
- Strong digital literacy and familiarity with collaborative and data management tools.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
