Sales Representative- Nakuru
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, supporting distributor operations, managing customer relationships, and increasing product visibility across the region.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Actively drive product demand and pull-through from assigned distributors by engaging agrovets, stockists, and farmers.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the Sales Manager.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing product education and basic after-sales support.
- Monitor distributor stock levels, ensuring optimal stock movement while avoiding stock-outs or overstocking.
- Support payment collections from credit customers, highlighting any payment delays or risks to the Sales Manager.
- Gather and report market intelligence on customer preferences, competitor activities, and market trends.
- Execute promotional campaigns, activations, and represent the company during field days, exhibitions, and distributor-led events.
Key Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Atleast 4 years of field sales experience, preferably within agriculture, animal health, or FMCG sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Familiar with the Rift Valley region and willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet targets with minimal supervision.
- Good organizational and reporting skills.
