Sales Executive – Publishing Firm
The Sales Executive purpose is to execute the marketing strategies, drive sales and enhance the company’s brand presence.
Job Description
- Visit schools regularly to pitch the company’s books to teachers and school administrations.
- Engage bookshops to stock and display book titles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, teachers and bookshops.
- Organise and participate in school events, bookfairs, and other KPA/KESSHA/KEPSHA forums.
- Collect feedback from the field and share insights to improve products and marketing approaches.
- Achieve set termly and annual sales targets.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or fieldwork (experience in publishing will be an added advantage).
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Strong command of English and Kiswahili.
- Must be willing to travel extensively within assigned regions.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Confident, presentable and self-driven.
