Sales Executive
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Commercial and Technical Expert for pharmaceutical customers.
- Provide support to existing customers with current product offerings while driving the development of new portfolios and projects.
- Assess and identify the application potential of existing products.
- Manage and oversee the successful launch of new products into the market.
- Develop strategies to ensure consistent and competitive positioning of products and niche offerings.
- Provide continuous technical support for existing product lines.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales growth targets.
- Cultivate and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders in purchasing and R&D departments.
- Conduct competitive benchmarking, comparing current and upcoming products with key competitors in the market.
- Organize events and initiatives that engage both sales organizations and technical services teams.
- Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager to contribute to the overall Marketing Plan.
- Participate in business trips to meet with partners, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or any equivalent degree
- Holder of a valid Pharmacist License from the Pharmacy & Poisons Board (PPB) of Kenya
- B2B sales experience in selling pharmaceutical ingredients in a chemical distribution company
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong commercial and market orientation
- Ability to work in a multinational environment
- Valid driving license
