Retail Executive

Job Purpose

  • Implement the prescribed retail plans and processes to analyze data, periodical forecasting and reporting of data to management in line with business strategy and objectives, Group guidelines and policies

Key Tasks

  • Implement retail plans and processes to analyze data, periodical forecasting and reporting of data to management in line with business strategy and objectives, Group guidelines and policies
  • Reconcile sales data to determine if store is meeting financial goals and implement plans to improve performance
  • Execute all safety and security procedures
  • Participate in day to day activities like merchandise receiving and stocking, non-sales departmental work, such as check-out, photo lab or bagging orders
  • Collaborate with the team in multi-store non-sales operations activities including new store opening coordination, payroll/incentive plans, event planning, and/or contest planning and promotion
  • Manage and maintain efficient distribution networks
  • Execute retail plans and processes in organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel

Stakeholders

  • May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices
  • Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own function
  • Build relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns
  • Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationships
