DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with German healthcare standards and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to recognize symptoms of various diseases and assess and evaluate the patient’s condition.
• Providing care services to patients: basic hygiene, nutrition, and mobility assistance.
• Administration of prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring the safe and appropriate use of medications and monitoring the patients for any adverse reactions or side effects. 
• Assisting with procedures and exams which involves preparation of the patients, management of equipment and documentation of the findings.
• Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals and staff.
• Management and supervision of patients in various hospital departments.
• Provide emotional support and education to the patients and their families.
• Meticulous and accurate documentation and record keeping of patient assessments, treatments and progress.
• Maintenance and care of medical equipment to ensure optimal usage.
• Strong communication skills to communicate with patients and their families.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN), Diploma in Nursing (KRN/KRCHN).
• Must hold a valid current license from Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Open to both experienced nurses and new graduates.
• German language proficiency up to B2 level is a strong advantage. Candidates without German language certification are encouraged to register for language classes with CMTI, our partner institute in preparing candidates for the German language training.
