Duties and responsibilities:-

• Take patient history, examine, diagnose, and interpret laboratory and imaging results
• Treat common ailments at outpatient and inpatient health facilities
• Implement community health care activities in collaboration with other health workers
• Guide and counsel patients, clients, and staff on health-related issues
• Sensitize patients and clients on preventive and promotive health measures
• Refer patients and clients to appropriate health facilities for specialized care
• Provide clinical outreach and school health services
• Carry out minor surgical procedures within the scope of training and skills
• Collect and compile clinical data for use in patient care and health planning
• Assess, prepare, and present medicolegal reports as required
