Principal Partnership and Resource Mobilization Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director, Training and Research, the position holder will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying and developing programs and projects for external funding opportunities.
- Building strategic networks and partnerships with donors, development partners, and stakeholders.
- Mobilizing stakeholders to support resource mobilization initiatives and hospital programs.
- Drafting proposals, briefs, and concept notes for funding programs and projects.
- Preparing work plans, resource mobilization documents, and maintaining an updated resource mobilization database.
- Conducting research on donor trends, funding priorities, and stakeholder practices to inform strategies.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with partners to enhance collaboration and sustainability.
- Any other duty as may be assigned.
Key Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Commerce, Business Management/Administration, Political Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, International Relations and Diplomacy or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Commerce, Business Management/Administration, Political Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Development Studies, International Relations and Diplomacy or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- At least nine (9) years relevant work experience, three (3) of which must have been in the grade of a Senior Partnership & Resource Mobilization Officer or in a comparable position.
- Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Compliance with Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
