Requirements for Appointment: –

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning from a recognized institution;
• Membership to a relevant professional body

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparing physical development plans;
• Undertaking feasibility studies on physical, social, economic and environmental characteristics;
• Implementing physical plans for County, urban areas and cities;
• Processing development applications;
• Maintaining physical planning records;
• Plan, monitor and evaluate performance of staff against the set targets.
