Job Purpose

  • Skill-Gap Solutions Ltd is a trusted HR consulting partner, providing end-to-end talent acquisition and HR advisory services across diverse industries in Kenya and the wider East African region. We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-growing and dynamic company, for the position of Sales and Marketing Supervisor.
  • The Sales and Marketing Supervisor will spearhead the company’s growth strategy by leading sales operations, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning the brand as a market leader in interior design solutions. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and execution to deliver exceptional client experiences, grow revenue, and ensure sustained business development.

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed set targets.
  • Set clear performance expectations to sales team, monitor progress, and provide coaching to boost productivity.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for different client segments (retail, walk-in clients, B2B, and corporate accounts).
  • Participate in key negotiations and high-value client presentations.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing plans (digital, social media, events, and exhibitions) aligned with business objectives.
  • Strengthen the company’s online presence through targeted campaigns, influencer collaborations, and high-quality content creation.
  • Drive lead generation and brand awareness initiatives that translate into measurable sales conversions.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, new trends, and competitor strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, real estate developers, and corporate clients.
  • Explore strategic partnerships and business collaborations to expand the customer base.
  • Ensure customer feedback is gathered, analyzed, and used to improve service quality and offerings.
  • Oversee customer care standards to deliver premium experiences and foster loyalty.
  • Track and report on sales and marketing KPIs with actionable insights for management.
  • Monitor Social media marketing ROI and adjust campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on business performance.
  • Recommend process improvements and innovations to enhance competitiveness.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
  • 5+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Experience in interior design, real estate, luxury goods, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams to meet ambitious sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and modern sales techniques.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented, innovative thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within deadlines.
