Oil Supervisor

To supervise and coordinate oil business activities to ensure efficient operations, full compliance with regulations, excellent customer service, and effective team performance.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote and market company services while identifying opportunities to grow the oil business.
  • Ensure adherence to petroleum regulations, company policies, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Oversee compliance with statutory, EHS, and operational standards.
  • Monitor KRA Customs Oil Stocks Information System (COSIS) entries, ensuring gate passes and invoicing are completed on time.
  • Handle oil bonds efficiently—maintaining valid security, timely cancellation, and accurate documentation.
  • Resolve customer and regulatory queries promptly.
  • Attend customer KPI meetings and ensure action items are completed.
  • Prepare and share regular oil operations reports with clients and management.
  • Ensure oil branches are adequately staffed and compliant with all operational requirements.
  • Follow up on refunds and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Set objectives for the oil team, monitor performance, and conduct regular reviews.
  • Coach, mentor, and support team members to improve productivity and service delivery.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in oil logistics or operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of KRA Cosis system and oil bond procedures.
  • Sound understanding of petroleum regulations, compliance, and EHS standards.
  • ICMS Certificate/Password
