Office Assistant/ Cleaner
ROLE PURPOSE
- The Office Assistant/ Cleaner is reliable, detail oriented, ensuring the company offices are well maintained and organized among other roles as listed below.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the Offices and other areas under which the company operates are clean including washrooms.
- Dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, shelves, and other office fittings.
- Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) as required.
- Emptying waste bins and taking waste materials to the designated collection points.
- Make soft beverages/tea for the office staff, visitors and guests.
- Ensure all utensils are clean.
- Responding to inquiries from customers and visitors.
- Trustworthy and undertake budget and shopping for office supplies.
- Report any office machine and equipment faults, i.e tables, fridges, microwaves, and water kettles.
- Assist in photocopying, binding, and filing of office documents.
- Any other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Diploma/ Certificate in hospitality management or related course is a plus (but not mandatory) Must have a KCSE certificate.
- At least two years of experience as an office assistant.
- Must be able to maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent team player and problem-solving skills.
- Quick learner.
