Overall purpose of the job:

• Reporting to the Health Centre Manager the incumbent will be responsible for performing laboratory based scientific medical investigation in order to provide laboratory diagnosis

Key responsibilities:

• Registration, collection and processing of client samples within the limits of specific tests
• Communication of laboratory results
• Maintain high standards of quality laboratory practice by use of proper reagents well calibrated machines and clean working environment
• Preparation of laboratory reports
• Participation in internal QC programmes and log in the appropriate registers

Position requirements:

• A diploma in Medical Laboratory Science.
• Must have a registration certificate from the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologist Board.
• At least two (2) years of appropriate experiences in medical laboratory functions.
• ICT competency
