Professional Requirements

  • Must possess Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or its equivalent from an accredited and recognized
  • Must possess an earned Ph.D. or equivalent Doctoral Degree in Physiology or its equivalent  from an accredited and recognized university
  • Must be at good standing with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council.
  • Minimum three (3) year experience of teaching human Physiology at university level.
  • Must provide evidence of computer literacy

  • Must possess an earned Master Degree in Physiology or equivalent from an accredited and recognized university
  • Must be at good standing with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Teach and assess courses in one’s discipline at both undergraduate and postgraduate Level
  • Supervise undergraduate projects and other experiential learning programs as well as postgraduate dissertations/theses.
  • Participate in the development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • Initiate, promote and participate in research projects
  • Participate in academic conferences /seminars/ workshops
  • Provide professional and community services and initiate linkages and fund mobilization.
  • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
