Salary Scale:Ksh. 39,700 x 1,470 – 41,170 x 1,520 – 42,690 x 1,710 – 44,400 x 1,920 – 46,320 x 2,000 – 48,320 x 2,290 – 50,610 x 2,350 – 52,690 p.m.

Requirements for Appointment
- Be a Citizen of Kenya;
- Bachelor’s Degree either in Leather Technology/Science/Manufacture or its equivalent from a recognized institution; and
- Have a certificate in computer proficiency applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Promoting production of quality hides and skins;
- Carrying out sensitization on standards on leather products;
- Carrying out training needs assessment in leather value chain;
- Identification/recruitment of MSMEs to be trained in production of leather and leather products;
- Leather sector data collection; and
- Promotion of appropriate environmental management in the leather sector.
