Partner Engagement & Events Coordinator

  • The Partner Engagement & Events Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing events, managing partner collaborations, and delivering actionable market intelligence.
  • This role ensures that Software Dynamics leverages the Microsoft Partner network effectively, maintains strong visibility in industry events, and provides research-based insights to guide marketing strategies and sales targeting.
  • This is a junior-to-mid level role ideal for a highly organized, proactive, and collaborative professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Engagement & Co-Marketing
  • Coordinate co-marketing initiatives with Microsoft, including joint success stories, campaigns, and funding applications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for partner programs and initiatives to maximize benefits from Microsoft Partner status.
  • Support collaboration with other technology partners and internal teams for joint marketing activities.
  • Events Planning & Execution
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute webinars, workshops, and virtual events (e.g., “What’s New in F&O 2024”).
  • Manage logistics and participation for conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Track event metrics, gather feedback, and provide post-event insights for continuous improvement.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure events align with business goals and generate quality leads.
  • Market Research & Insights
  • Conduct market research to identify key industry trends, adoption patterns, and competitive intelligence (Dynamics, SAP, Oracle partners).
  • Build and maintain lists of target companies and key contacts for Sales outreach.
  • Provide actionable insights to refine marketing messages, campaigns, and sales territories.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, or briefing notes summarizing research findings.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in marketing coordination, events management, or market research (internship or agency experience acceptable).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple events and research projects simultaneously.
  • Basic understanding of B2B technology marketing, Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Azure), or enterprise software is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, and marketing/event management tools (Zoom, GoToWebinar, Eventbrite, etc.).
  • Strong research and analytical skills; able to synthesize data into clear insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Method of Application

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within the Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform ecosystem, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and meet client requirements.

Core Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Development:

  • Design, develop, and customize Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) modules, including entities, forms, views, dashboards, and security models.
  • Implement and deploy custom business logic using the Power Platform (Dataverse) SDK, including writing, debugging, and deploying Plugins, Custom Workflow Activities, and Custom Actions using C# and the .NET framework.
  • Develop and optimize low-code solutions using Power Apps (Model-Driven and Canvas) and Power Automate (Cloud Flows) to automate business processes.

External-Facing Portal Development:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in developing and customizing external-facing websites using Microsoft Power Pages.
  • Implement advanced portal functionalities, custom authentication, and complex data interactions leveraging the Power Pages/Dataverse Web API, with expert use of JavaScript and Liquid templates.

Integration & Lifecycle Management:

  • Design and implement integrations between Dynamics 365/Dataverse and external systems using Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions), C# custom connectors, and API management.
  • Manage solution deployment and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps or GitHub, ensuring smooth, automated, and governed releases across environments.

Technical Consulting & Documentation:

  • Provide expert technical guidance and translate complex business requirements into highquality technical design specifications and architectural blueprints.
  • Adhere to Microsoft’s Success by Design and Power Platform Well-Architected Framework methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE/CRM).
  • Certifications (Mandatory): Must be a Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).

Deep Technical Expertise:

  • C# Expert: Proven, expert-level proficiency in C# for developing robust Dynamics 365 plugins, custom workflow activities, and external applications.
  • Power Pages Expert: Extensive experience in developing and customizing external websites using Microsoft Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals), including advanced use of the Dataverse Web API, Liquid templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dataverse/CDS data modeling, security, and optimization.
