Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Food & Beverage (F&B) operations, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, legal requirements, and health & safety regulations.
- Manage budgets, costs, purchasing, profitability, and ensure proper maintenance and use of F&B equipment.
- Deliver and maintain excellent service quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of F&B offerings.
- Lead, train, appraise, and develop the F&B team, fostering teamwork, empowerment, and accountability.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sales & Marketing on menu design, promotions, and strategic plans.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, sales results, KPIs, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain effective internal and external communication with management, staff, clients, suppliers, and the community.
- Attend required meetings, training, and perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Food Service Management, Hospitality, or related field from a recognized institution.
- 10+ years’ experience in Food & Beverage operations, with at least 5 years in management.
- Strong leadership, team-building, and customer service skills with excellent English communication.
- Knowledge of food trends, best practices, and full technical expertise in food handling, beverage storage, and service.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost control, mathematical and analytical tasks, and effective delegation.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office, POS, and restaurant management software.
- High emotional intelligence, detail-oriented, organized, calm under pressure, and adaptable to demanding environments.
- Physically fit to handle long hours, lifting, and various working conditions (heat, cold, noise, chemicals, hazards).
