Job Description:

•  Reporting to the Medical Officer In Charge, this role is responsible for:
• Superintending the branch laboratory premises as per the KMLTTB requirements
• Planning, organizing and coordinating the departmental activities to meet the budget and quality objectives
• Implementing laboratory standard operating procedures and policies in accordance with the policies of the hospital and statutory requirements
• Supervising laboratory operations and staff ensuring that the company polices are implemented

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory with more than 1 year experience and up to 3 years experience in a similar position. Certifications in quality management, management course or health systems management is desirable.

Key Competencies:

• Successful applicants must have an understanding of hospital strategy implementation, possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and strong knowledge of laboratory techniques
