DESCRIPTION

Prompt production of food and Beverages

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing and provision of timely meals within set time schedules as per the laid-out policies, processes and   procedures
  • Sets buffets and banquet for service 
  • Portion control while serving and dispatching food to units.
  • Maintain safety and hygiene standards in food preparation and service 
  • Optimal use of resources to avoid wastage 
  • Adhere to all sanitation and infection control guidelines within the kitchen and food service areas.
  • Check all chemical levels and inventory to support daily reporting.
  • Assist the Cooks and waiter/waitresses’ as necessary for timely preparation and service of food
  • Sort and dispose of waste within the kitchen, cafeteria and other food service areas
  • Keep an updated inventory of kitchen items.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma/Certificate in Food Production/Food & Beverage Management
  • At least 1 year and up to 3 years’ experience
  • Team work & Planning
  • Result Oriented
