POSITION OVERVIEW

• Our client is a vibrant retail brand combining supermarket and pharmacy services with a fresh deli section designed to offer ready-to-eat meals and snacks for our customers. We are looking for a Kitchen Helper / Assistant Chef to support our deli team in preparing high-quality food and ensuring excellent customer service

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the chef in preparing and cooking meals, snacks, and baked items.
• Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for daily menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Assist in stocking, receiving, and storing kitchen supplies.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support plating and packaging of food for display and customer orders.
• Provide excellent teamwork support to ensure smooth deli operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate/Diploma in Food Production, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a kitchen, deli, or restaurant environment.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Team player, reliable, and energetic.
• Passion for food and customer service.
