Royal Mabati Factory Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality roofing solutions and steel construction materials. We are seeking to recruit Sales Representatives – Branch for our outlets in Nakuru, Kakamega, Kericho, Nanyuki, Bungoma, Kisii, Eldoret, and Kisumu. The role is responsible for driving branch sales growth, managing day-to-day branch operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This position combines field sales activities with branch management duties, including stock coordination, payments follow-up, and local marketing execution.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales, retail, or branch operations (experience in the construction/steel industry is an advantage).
  • Knowledge of sales techniques, customer engagement, and basic inventory control.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driving license will be an added advantage.

Key Competencies

  • Drive sales in the assigned branch territory through walk-in customers and field visits.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to enhance market penetration.
  • Manage daily branch operations including opening, closing, and safeguarding assets.
  • Attend to customer inquiries, complaints, and provide after-sales support.
  • Process and dispatch customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
  • Monitor branch stock levels, conduct reconciliations, and request replenishments.
  • Process customer payments, maintain accurate daily records, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales and stock reports.
  • Update CRM with customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Ensure branch compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

We are seeking to recruit an Electrical Technician Intern to support our technical team in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within our factory. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or student seeking practical, hands-on experience in an industrial setting.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
  • Recent graduate or continuing student seeking industrial attachment/internship.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism

Key Competencies

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and control equipment. Support troubleshooting of electrical faults in motors, control panels, production machines, and lighting systems.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards or faulty components.
  • Assist in wiring, circuit installation, and modifications as per technical requirements.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and service records in line with company procedures.
  • Support the maintenance team during machine shutdowns and start-ups.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Electrical Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
