The Transport Manager will oversee the efficient and safe operation of Hewatele’s fleet of 20 trucks used in the distribution of medical oxygen and other gases. This role requires strong logistics planning, leadership, and a commitment to health and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the transport department, including driver scheduling and route planning.
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained, licensed, and compliant with NTSA and safety regulations.
- Implement health and safety protocols for drivers and transport operations.
- Liaise with internal teams and clients to coordinate deliveries and resolve logistics issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transport Management or related field.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or Fleet Safety Management.
- At least 3 years of practical experience in fleet and transport management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle documentation.
- Coordinate training, performance reviews, and employee engagement activities.
- Handle payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain accurate and secure employee records and administrative files.
- Support general office operations and internal communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Membership with IHRM and knowledge of Kenyan labor laws.
