Intern – Infrastructure App Developer

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of custom applications supporting Infrastructure NOC operations.
  • Maintaining and updating applications built on the React framework for monitoring and reporting.
  • Developing REST API integrations to connect monitoring platforms, dashboards, and internal tools.
  • Building and refining Grafana dashboards for real-time visualization of ICT infrastructure performance.
  • Researching and prototyping Large Language Model (LLM)-based solutions (Claude, LLaMA) for onboarding, automation, and knowledge capture.
  • Contributing to AI and IT automation projects, including the deployment and optimization of Microsoft Copilot for IT workflows.
  • Documenting code, integration steps, dashboards, and application processes for sustainability.
  • Participating in infrastructure projects such as dashboard optimization, automation scripts, and virtual machine migration.
  • Collaborating with peers and engineers to enhance the monitoring and application ecosystem.
  • Communicating with supervisors on progress, blockers, and new opportunities for automation. 

Qualifications/special skills

  • Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
  • be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate school programme in information and communication technology or related area;
  • be enrolled in the final academic year of degree programme in information and communication technology or related area; or if pursuing their studies in countries where higher education is not divided into undergraduate and graduate stages, have completed at least three years of fulltime studies at a university or equivalent institution towards the completion of an information and communication technology degree or related degree.
  • Preferred area of study: Candidates should be in the final year of a university degree (minimum bachelor’s) or have completed a degree in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Any related field with a focus on software development, IT infrustructure, or business technology.
