Human Resources Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Drive recruitment, selection, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage disciplinary processes, performance management, and separations in line with labour laws.
- Oversee employee relations, union engagements, and welfare programs to foster a positive work environment.
- Coordinate training, orientation, and professional development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws, employment regulations, and DOSH requirements.
- Administer compensation, benefits, leave management, and health schemes.
- Lead policy development, employee handbooks, and organisation development initiatives.
- Manage workplace safety, health, wellbeing programs, and WIBA claims.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in HRM, Social Sciences, or related field (Postgraduate Diploma/CHRP an added advantage).
- Minimum 5 years’ progressive HR experience in a busy, fast-paced organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour laws & industrial relations practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
