General Maintenance Technician (Laundry & Kitchen Equipment Specialist)

  • We are currently seeking a General Maintenance Technician (Laundry & Kitchen Equipment Specialist).   • As a General Maintenance Technician (Laundry & Kitchen Equipment Specialist), you play a vital role in ensuring our properties deliver an experience beyond expectation, creating memorable moments for our guests.

SPECIFIC DUTIES;

  • Ensure all cooking and Laundry equipment’s are in good working condition at all times.
  • Ensures that all systems and procedures are kept up to date compliant with the set up standards.
  • Control of materials requested from the store by ensuring proper usage
  • Ensures that all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by the Chief Engineer.

GENERAL DUTIES;

  • Ensuring that mechanical technicians adhere to set working hours
  • Submission of FF&E requirement to the Plant room/supervisor/Assistant /Chief Engineer
  • Ensuring that quality workmanship is observed
  • Ensuring quick and permanent solutions are implemented to avert re-occurrences
  • Periodic preventive maintenance for machines and equipment’s is in place
  • Close and hands on supervision of mechanical technicians
  • Planning and scheduling of maintenance of equipment without interfering with the normal operations and depending on the urgency
  • Daily check for Laundry and Kitchen Equipment
  • Ensures that the preventive maintenance is done as scheduled
  • Advises on what items are required in the store
  • Ensures that quality are items delivered  
  • Ensure minimal wastage of materials
  • Has a working knowledge of FTO Department Brand Standards to ensure compliance.
  • To have working Knowledge of HVAC/Electrical and MEP Installations
  • Ensuring all equipment’s and machines are working and in good condition
  • Ensure periodic testing and service of equipment’s is done 
  • Comply with all systems and procedures as laid down by Chief Engineer.
  • The management reserves the right to change/extend this statement if necessary at any point of time during her/his employment.
  • Any other duties that may be delegated by the management through the Chief Engineer or his Designate.
