Food and Beverage Supervisor
We are currently looking to recruit a Food and Beverage Supervisor, [two positions]to work at Taita Hills & Salt Lick Wildlife Resort Ltd.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Allocate workstations and oversee meal service setups.
- Lead shift briefings on guest feedback, staff, VIPs, and hotel updates.
- Maintain grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards.
- Ensure clean, organized dining and service areas.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage inventory, cash floats, duty rosters, and attendance records.
- Motivate, guide, and counsel team members.
- Provide performance feedback and identify training needs.
- Support staff appraisals and recognition programs.
- Foster teamwork and resolve conflicts.
- Train staff on brand and service standards.
- Conduct brief training sessions to address service gaps.
- Enforce SOP compliance and report misconduct.
- Track equipment, breakages, and resource usage.
- Authorize bill changes in Manager’s absence with proper records. Coordinate with kitchen, front desk, and housekeeping.
- Maintain clear and accurate communication across departments.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in Food & Beverage within a reputable hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Solid understanding of F&B operations and guest service standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems and hotel billing procedures.
