Job Purpose:

Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance customer usage and retention of the bank’s digital products and services, particularly within Food & Agriculture Ecosystems – supporting NTB customer acquisition digitally and promoting digital portfolio growth with minimal risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive uptake and usage of digital financial products for stakeholders in agricultural value chains.
•  Develop and implement digitization strategies tailored to the Food & Agriculture sector.
•  Monitor performance of the sector’s digital loan portfolio and ensure risk is managed within acceptable thresholds.
•  Act as the primary liaison between the Food & Agriculture sector and digital/technical teams for solution development and issue resolution.
•  Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for staff and clients on digital solutions.
•  Ensure compliance with digital credit policies and support credit scoring, onboarding, and limit setting for Agri clients

Qualifications

Academic Qualifications & Experience

• Holder Bachelor’s Degree in ICT, or agriculture related courses such as Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, agriculture finance or related field
• A postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA, MSc in Digital Finance, Agriculture, or Innovation) is an added advantage.
• At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in Food & Agriculture Sector, five (5) of which must be years in digital financial services or agriculture-related programs
•  Proven experience in designing, managing, or scaling digital financial products, particularly within agriculture or rural finance ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of overall banking operations, credit policies, lending processes, and digital credit management systems. As well as In-depth knowledge of sales, customer onboarding, digital savings and payments solutions (BIIMS) 
•  Demonstrated knowledge of Agri-value chains, rural customer dynamics, and digital adoption trends in emerging markets.
