Overall purpose of the job:

• Reporting to the Emergency Rescue and Training Manager, the Fleet Supervisor ensures safe, reliable, and cost-effective ambulance operations to support timely emergency response and service delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Check ambulance and equipment readiness.
• Manage radio communication and dispatch support.
• Oversee fueling and vehicle servicing.
• Report defects and ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate trip and fuel records.
• Support continuous improvement in fleet operations.
• To operate the ambulance.

Position Requirements

• Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Valid BCE driving license
• Knowledge in vehicle operations, troubleshooting, defensive driving, ambulance operations, and customer service
• Minimum 3 years of ambulance driving and at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven leadership skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
