Duties and Responsibilities;
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

• control of expenditure Ministries/Departments;
• commitments in the initial evaluation and scrutiny of expenditure proposals andcompilation of information required in the budgetary processes;
• processing of Medium-Term Expenditure Framework and revised estimates budget;
• and taking initial action for the budgeting of donor financed projects, reviewing of financial
• implementation of such projects, and monitoring commitments on expenditures. Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: –

• Bachelors’ degree in any of the following areas: Commerce (Finance option), Economics, Business Administration, Business Management (Finance option)
• Master degree will be an added advantage
