Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Fabric Cutter to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring, marking, and cutting fabrics according to patterns and production requirements, ensuring precision and minimal material wastage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret fabric cutting instructions and garment patterns
• Measure and mark fabric accurately using templates or tools
• Cut fabric manually or using cutting machines
• Ensure quality and consistency in all cut pieces
• Minimize fabric waste through efficient layout and cutting techniques
• Collaborate with the tailoring and quality control teams to meet production timelines
• Maintain a clean and organized cutting workstation
• Report fabric shortages or defects to the supervisor

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a fabric cutter in a textile or garment production setting
• Ability to read and interpret patterns and measurements accurately
• Familiarity with both manual and machine cutting tools
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Good time management and ability to meet production deadlines
• Knowledge of different fabric types and their handling requirements
• Team player with good communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in an EPZ environment
• Basic knowledge of tailoring or garment assembly
