ECDE Teacher – AIC Kapkorio ECDE Center – Kapseret at Uasin Gishu County Government

Requirements For appointment:-

Diploma in Early Childhood Development and Education offered by KNEC or its approved equivalent;
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade C (Plain), or its approved equivalent;

OR

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) minimum grade D+ (Plus), or its approved equivalent plus Certificate in Early Childhood Development and Education offered by KNEC or Ministry of Education or its approved equivalent;
Registered by the Teachers Service Commission;

Duties and Responsibilities: –

Class teaching;
Role model, guide and counsel, mentor and motivate learners;
Prepare monthly reports;
Ensure the safety and security of the learners;
Identify, initiate, develop and facilitate play learning activities that will enable learners enjoy living and learning through play;
Develop relevant play/learning materials for all learners;
Prepare and develop schemes of work, lesson plans, Record of Work and daily programme of activities, assessment and evaluation of learners’ progress and keep professional records.
