Digital Partnerships Analyst – Digital Financial Services Division

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess business models, digital platforms and their architecture to identify opportunities, key drivers of success and evaluate potential risks.
  • Conduct technical analysis, validation, and quality assurance to gain insights into user experience, business functionality, workflow processes, and system architecture to inform decision-making and recommend improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Enhance technical evaluation models, required for conducting architectural appraisals and review of the technology components of proposed solutions/platforms.
  • Presentation of their findings and technical recommendations, during their engagements with the potential partners, internal  teams and other stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation on digital financial services and products. This includes system architecture, workflows, and integration processes and keep the documentation up to date with any changes or enhancements.
  • Collect, analyze different business needs and report on functional requirements of the organization.
  • Provide relevant data-driven reports to KCB Bank Leadership and key stakeholders for decision-making, action planning, and continuous improvement.
  • In collaboration with quality assurance and compliance teams, evaluate the reliability, security, and performance of proposed digital financial products & platforms.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the partnerships & new ventures team to evaluate new opportunities and identify appropriate partnerships, aligned to the bank’s strategic direction.
  • Conduct due diligence, validation of opportunities and quality assurance in line with the bank’s technology standards & requirements.
  • Work with internal & external stakeholders to translate partnership proposals into functioning offerings / solutions that are live in the market.
  • Facilitate transition of qualified opportunities to the relevant internal teams, and steer delivery of the partnership scope within the agreed-on timelines.
  • Compile findings and recommendations into reports or presentations, summarizing analysis and insights to inform the business decisions.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The  preferred candidate will meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in technology and system architecture, including specific experience in the following areas:
  • Working with relational databases, various technologies and operating platforms.
  • Conversant with emerging technologies and new digital business models.
  • Basic knowledge of system architecture, networking, data transmission through networks and data security.
  • Working in the fintech &/or start-up ecosystem.
  • Interpreting business requirements into meaningful technical functionalities.
  • Working with cross-functional & multi-cultural teams
  • Strong communication skills and skilled in reporting, and presentation to C-level stakeholders
  • Self-driven and results focused.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to execution
