Duties and responsibilities
- Guide and usher clients and visitors;
- Register, issue and maintain visitors passes;
- Renew and updating visitors passes;
- Provide general feedback to customer inquiries, escalate and follow through on enquiries
- Maintain records and data of visits;
- Making follow up of enquiries;
- Receive and direct telephone calls;
- Upholding the image and reputation of the Authority
- Coordinate reception activities; and
- Forward customer care feedback to the Senior or Principal Customer Care Assistant
Job Specifications
For appointment to this grade an officer must have: –
- Cumulative service period of nine (9) years’ relevant work experience, three (3) years of which should have been in the grade of Customer Care Assistant II or in a comparable position;
- Diploma in Communication, Public Relations, Customer Care, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Secretarial Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications;
- Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;

- Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (TCC);
- Certificate of clearance from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
- Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI);
- Dully filled and stamped Self-Declaration/Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
- Clearance certificate from approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
