DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the head of the county public service;
- Be responsible for arranging the business, and keeping the minutes, of the county executive committee subject to the directions of the executive committee;
- Convey the decisions of the county executive committee to the appropriate persons or authorities; and
- Perform any other functions as directed by the county executive committee.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT
- Is a citizen of Kenya;
- Holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
- Has at least ten years relevant professional experience;
- Has at least Five years’ experience in a leadership position at senior management level in a public service or private sector organization; and
- Meets the requirements of leadership and integrity as prescribed in Chapter Six of the Constitution.

- Certified copies of Registration Certificate from the relevant professional bodies if any
- For candidates with foreign degrees: Attach an approval letter from the Commission for University Education (CUE)
- Mandatory Additional requirements (Chapter VI documents of the Constitution of Kenya 2010):
- Valid clearance Certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
- Valid Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Certificate of Compliance
- Valid Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance Certificate
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Self-Declaration Form
- Clearance by the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
