Coast Region Retail Zonal Manager
- Petro Oil Kenya Limited is a medium sized oil Marketing Company based in Mombasa engaged in the importation, distribution and marketing of Petroleum products throughout Kenya.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train station employees on customer service, products, offloading procedures, safety, quality, health and environment guidelines and statutory compliance.
- Oversee/ monitor the effective financial and marketing operation of the service stations covering petty cash, banking and credit management.
- Monitor and report on service stations performance and make appropriate recommendations to improve their performance.
- Handle customer loyalty discounts at the stations.
- Handle tenants at the stations and ensure that station equipment is well handled and maintained.
- Monitor product losses and institute mitigation measures to curb fuel losses at the stations. Review station pricing data in line with market movements and gather marketing intelligence in the region.
- Station spot checks on staff attendance, reporting, cash handling, stock handling and any other duty that may be deemed necessary for smooth flow of operations.
- Ensure equipment in various stations are well maintained and prepare daily maintenance status report.
- Ensure all communication from the head office is properly channeled to the respective stations and any directives implemented.
- Represent the company to third parties at station in line with the set guidelines, directives and procedures.
- Loading & Offloading process audits including truck monitoring incases of station losses.
- Station staff management including off days and leave management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, marketing or related field.
- Minimum of four (4) years retail experience in petrol service station operations in a supervisory position.
- Able to lead a retail team
- Problem solver, analytical & detail-oriented.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Good communication & sound organizational skills.
- Good financial understanding and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills & sound organizational skills
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Driving license would be an advantage.
- Initial posting will be in Coast Region but candidate should be ready to work anywhere in Kenya.
