Business Lead–HR Software

Job Purpose:

To drive the growth and adoption of the company\’s HR software solutions (e.g., HRMS, payroll, recruitment systems, performance management tools) by identifying and converting sales opportunities among SMEs, corporates, and HR professionals.

Job Description

  • Proactively generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline through outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and industry events
  • Conduct demos and presentations of HR software products to prospective clients
  • Understand client pain points and recommend appropriate HR tech solutions
  • Develop tailored proposals and quotations in collaboration with the technical and solutions teams
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for subscriptions, licenses, or usage
  • Maintain relationships with clients post-sale to encourage renewals, upselling, and referrals
  • Collaborate with the product development team to relay market feedback
  • Keep accurate records in the CRM system of leads, opportunities, and client engagements
  • Represent the company in HR tech events, expos, and client training sessions
  • Work closely with the marketing team to drive targeted campaigns

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
  • Minimum 2–4 years of sales experience in software, SaaS, or HR technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of HR workflows (recruitment, payroll, leave, appraisal, etc.)
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Experience conducting client-facing product demos and closing deals
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
