Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and pursue new commercial opportunities in the C&I and off-grid renewable energy market.
- Build and manage relationships with prospective clients, partners, EPCs, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development, coordinate bid submissions, and support contract negotiations.
- Work closely with the technical and finance teams to prepare proposals, feasibility inputs, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain a strong pipeline, track deal progress, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
- Conduct market research to stay current on policy, competition, and sector trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or related field.
- 2-4 years’ experience in business development or sales within the renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sector.
- Proven track record in originating and closing C&I or distributed energy projects.
- Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work cross-functionally.
- Fluency in English required; regional languages a plus.
