Business Development Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, assess, and pursue new commercial opportunities in the C&I and off-grid renewable energy market.
  • Build and manage relationships with prospective clients, partners, EPCs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Lead proposal development, coordinate bid submissions, and support contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with the technical and finance teams to prepare proposals, feasibility inputs, and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline, track deal progress, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
  • Conduct market research to stay current on policy, competition, and sector trends.
  • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or related field.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in business development or sales within the renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sector.
  • Proven track record in originating and closing C&I or distributed energy projects.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and work cross-functionally.
  • Fluency in English required; regional languages a plus.
