Role Summary
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Assistant Manager – Merchandise / Retail Planning to support retail performance through strong assortment planning, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assortment planning and buying across stores
- Plan and monitor inventory levels to optimize availability and sell-through
- Allocate stock store-wise based on sales performance
- Track daily sales reports and provide performance insights
- Support and execute visual merchandising standards
- Coordinate with vendors on order placement, delivery schedules, and replenishments
- Ensure timely stock replenishment to maximize store performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion, Retail, Merchandising, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in merchandise / retail planning
- Experience in Sports Footwear, Sports Apparel, Accessories, or Sports Equipment
- Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management ability
