Job Description

• Maintain and enhance existing healthcare applications written in PHP.
• Manage databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Administer and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, SES, CloudWatch).
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, including third-party APIs (billing, shipping, communications).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Implement and uphold security and compliance standards in line with healthcare and data protection requirements.
• Document processes, code changes, and provide knowledge transfer where required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while keeping stakeholders updated.

Qualifications

Core Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong database management skills (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience managing AWS services: EC2, RDS, S3, SES, CloudWatch.
• Proficiency with Git version control.

Integration & API Development

• Proven experience in REST API development and integration.
• Track record of integrating third-party APIs (billing, shipping, communication platforms).

Compliance & Security

• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and data protection standards.
• Experience working with sensitive data and ensuring system compliance.

Soft Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential for US client interaction).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Self-driven with the ability to manage priorities independently.
• Good documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities.
