Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with business goals.
Set up and maintain HR systems, employee handbooks, and organizational charts.
Lead recruitment efforts for all levels, especially for operations, warehousing, and support roles.
Oversee onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
Act as a point of contact for all HR matters.
Identify staff training needs and coordinate appropriate development programs.
Oversee the management of office supplies, facilities, utilities, and leases.
Manage company fleet, travel bookings, and general admin support services.
Implement and monitor health and safety standards at all company locations.
Promote staff wellness and support programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Higher Diploma in HR or CHRP certification is a plus.
Minimum 6 – 8 years’ experience in HR & Admin, preferably in logistics, Transport, or FMCG.
Strong knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HR systems and tools (e.g., HRIS, payroll software).
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and startup-like environment.
