Job Specifications

The Duties and Responsibilities will entail: –

  • Participating in Identification of relevant stakeholders;
  • Mobilizing communities for dissemination of information;
  • Assist in carrying out socio- economic survey and impact assessment;
  • Gathering information on the interests of stakeholders for inclusion in the formulation of policy by public institutions and organizations;
  • Updating the database of stakeholder in decision making bodies;
  • Creating awareness among stakeholders on available opportunities and other empowerment initiatives;
  • Creating awareness of the Agency’s initiatives for stakeholders /community members empowerment;
  • Assist in Preparing proposals on community projects that require funding;
  • Assist in identifying capacity building needs for community-based providers, NGOs, CBOs; and
  • Participate in Identification of the challenges affecting the formation and operationalization of Community Water and Sanitation Service Providers.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this position a candidate must have: –

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Sociology, Anthropology, social work, community development or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
  • Proficiency in computer applications; and
  • Meets the provisions of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.

  • The successful candidates will be required to satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 by submitting the following before the appointment: –
    • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
    • Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
    • Valid tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA);
    • Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC); and
    • Report from an Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
