Description
- Assist in preparing and submitting phytosanitary certificates through the KEPHIS (IEICS) system.
- Receive and verify export documents from shippers according to guidelines set.
- Collaboratively and consistently Support accurate processing of shipping documents, including HAWBs, customs entries, and flight documents.
- Help ensure all necessary documents are available for customs processing; report missing or incorrect items to the exporters or supervisor immediately.
- Update export information and customs entries in the CargoWise system.
- Help to ensure all export paperwork (AWBs, manifests, weight dockets) matches the actual shipment physically and on C1 and coordinate any corrections with all necessary departments.
- File documents correctly and maintain records for audits or claims and for references.
- Report any irregularities or delays regarding processes and documentation impacting the export process to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- Knowledge of export regulations and procedures.
- Setting priorities and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communicator and team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic customer service skills.
- “O” Level (KCSE C+).
- Further training on/possession of any relevant commercial course/aviation course (preferably export documentation) will be an added advantage.

Description
- Ensure pallets are properly secured on dollies at pushout.
- Collect thermal blankets and pallet covers and ensure they are in the same condition and quantity.
- Ensure pallet covers and thermal blankets are arranged in an orderly manner.
- Escort deliveries to airside using a trailer or tractor and security escort vehicles.
- Ensure the yard is always kept clean and tidy.
- Receiving and distribution of airline equipment as per SOP.
- Load and unload cargo and deliver goods while operating a forklift/tractor-trailer truck at the designated areas.
- Fill up on fuel, clean vehicles & tractors and keep a log of their activities, and maintain logs of trips.
- Fill out the daily vehicle checklist and report any defects effectively.
- Ensure equipment is kept in good working order.
- Adhere to all security, health, and safety SOPs as per company policy.
- Ensure safe acceptance of cargo at GHAs, correct weighing, and storage accordingly into the cold store.
- Ensure cool chain management is always adhered to.
Requirements
- High safety standards during the machine’s operation.
- Safe and timely collection, delivery, and transfer of cargo.
- Transit sheds and airside regulations.
- Timely ULD supply.
- Handling of airline equipment (pallets, nets, etc.).
- C in “O” Level (KCSE).
- Holder of a valid driving license—Classes B, C1, C, CE & G.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Further training on cargo handling operations will be an added advantage.
- 3-5 years of accident-free experience.
