About the Role

  • This role is responsible for supervising immigration compliance and HR operational excellence, ensuring legal adherence, stakeholder coordination, and support for global HR strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

Handling all Immigration Processes in our program countries

  • Manage end-to-end immigration processes across all program countries, ensuring full compliance with local labor and immigration laws.
  • Maintain and regularly update country-specific immigration guides in response to policy or legal changes, and ensure accessibility across internal platforms.
  • Independently manage relationships with internal teams and external immigration consultants, legal advisors, and relevant authorities.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of short- and long-term work permit applications, with effective communication to impacted stakeholders.
  • Proactively flag and report JL9+ staff relocations to support audit readiness and respond to external audit requests with accurate, timely immigration data.
  • Lead the implementation and oversight of the “understudy” requirement/program, ensuring 100% alignment with country-specific legislation.
  • Keep all immigration trackers and SuccessFactors entries up to date for data consistency and reporting accuracy.

HR Compliance & Operational Support

  • Assist in the preparation and issuance of bulk employment contracts in line with organizational templates and local regulations.
  • Ensure confidentiality agreements are signed and filed for all staff accessing sensitive employee data.
  • Monitor and ensure that all JL9–14 staff disclose conflicts of interest, escalating non-compliance as necessary.
  • Provide compliance oversight during onboarding, role changes, and exits to ensure adherence to internal HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Support and lead global HR initiatives that improve efficiency, compliance, and transparency of HR operations.

Other Duties

  • Support and implement Global HR strategic improvements
  • Support the improvements and development of processing guides, tools, and systems supporting work.

Technical Skills:

  • Google suites, communication skills, problem-solving skills, project management, training skills.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of labor laws, both local and international.

Eligibility
