Brand Manager
The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies that build brand equity, drive consumer engagement, and support overall business growth. This role oversees marketing initiatives, conducts market and consumer analysis, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all communication platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in the personal care and hair care FMCG sectors
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to strengthen brand awareness, equity, and market positioning.
- Lead product development efforts, including concept ideation, formulation guidance, packaging development, and go-to-market strategies.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within the personal care and hair care segments.
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social media, traditional) to drive brand visibility and commercial success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, sales, and supply chain to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management.
- Manage the P&L for assigned brand(s), optimizing pricing strategies, promotional activities, and overall profitability.
- Liaise with external agencies for advertising, public relations, media buying, and creative execution.
- Monitor and evaluate brand performance metrics; generate insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments relevant to the category.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 6–10 years of marketing experience in the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in the hair care, dish care, or personal care categories is essential.
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales or consumer/trade marketing role.
- Direct involvement in new product development processes.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
- Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence at multiple levels.
