QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer application;
  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
  • Meet the provision of Chapter Six of Constitution

OR

  • Three (3) years’ experience at the grade of Assistant Officer III or in a comparable position in the public service or private sector;
  • Diploma Certificate in Law from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer application;
  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
  • Meet the provision of Chapter Six of Constitution

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and retrieving files for relevant action;
  • Opening legal files;
  • Photocopying file documents;
  • Filing contract and court documents;
  • Reviewing and retrieving files for relevant action;

  • responding to inquiries regarding specific cases;
  • facilitating payment of legal fees to the Fund’s external advocates;
  • serving legal documents to clients and other stakeholders;
  • collaborating with the Legal Officer, monitoring all contracts and leases – Term and Expiry;Â
  • Obtaining the Kenya Gazette weekly and perusing, preparing and submitting reports on any matter touching on the Fund.Â
  • Preparing a summary of all contracts prepared.
  • maintaining and updating files systematically and accurately to ensure rapid access and retrieval;
  • monitoring progress of contract and court cases; andÂ
  • Maintaining and updating master diary for court cases. Â

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Supply Chain Management, Commerce (Supplies Management option), Procurement or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  • Proficiency in computer application;
  • Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and issuing general supplies and stores;
  • Raising stores requisitions for replenishment of stock;
  • Ensuring goods delivered by suppliers are of the right quantity;
  • Participating in Periodic and Annual stock taking of Stores;
  • Maintaining stores and inventory records;Â
  • Identifying idle and slow-moving stores items;
  • Issuing Request for Quotations to Suppliers;
  • Raising local purchase orders (LPOs) and local service orders (LSOs) to suppliers; and
  • Receiving and processing supplier invoices.
