Collection Officer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily loan performance and follow up on due, overdue, and upcoming repayments.
  • Negotiate repayment plans and recover delinquent loans ethically.
  • Conduct field visits to verify client details and assess repayment capacity.
  • Maintain accurate client interaction records on the Super lender system.
  • Meet daily and monthly collection targets and KPIs.
  • Educate clients on financial literacy and loan obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field (Finance, Marketing, Economics).
  • 1-2 years’ experience in collections, sales, or microfinance.
  • Strong negotiation communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in mobile and computer- based reporting tools.
  • Willingness to work in rural or underserved areas.
