Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, a candidate must:
- Be a Citizen of Kenya;
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related field from a recognized institution;
- Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution; and
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mobilize and organize community groups for participation in development programs;
- Facilitate implementation of social and economic empowerment projects;
- Collect data and compile community development reports;
- Support training and capacity-building initiatives targeting local communities;
- Monitor and evaluate progress of grassroots social development programs; and
- Liaise with stakeholders and NGOs for coordinated community outreach.
