Assistant Manager (Merchandise/Retail Planning)

Role Summary

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Assistant Manager – Merchandise / Retail Planning to support retail performance through strong assortment planning, inventory control, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support assortment planning and buying across stores
  • Plan and monitor inventory levels to optimize availability and sell-through
  • Allocate stock store-wise based on sales performance
  • Track daily sales reports and provide performance insights
  • Support and execute visual merchandising standards
  • Coordinate with vendors on order placement, delivery schedules, and replenishments
  • Ensure timely stock replenishment to maximize store performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion, Retail, Merchandising, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in merchandise / retail planning
  • Experience in Sports Footwear, Sports Apparel, Accessories, or Sports Equipment
  • Strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills
  • Good communication and stakeholder management ability
